PlaX™

emmi will continue to use a material called PlaX™.
PlaX™ is made from sugar cane, so it is petroleum-free and biodegradable in certain environments, which means it makes a significant contribution to carbon neutrality.
For this series we quantified the CO2 emissions emitted throughout the entire process of creating the products, from the gathering of the raw materials through to their manufacturing and transportation.
We were also able to successfully visualize the CO2 emissions for each product by using analysis based on the LCA calculation scope created by Mash Style Lab,
this collection is also produced in a ‘green factory’, where 45% of the electricity needed is generated by solar power.
As a result of this we have succeeded in reducing our CO2 emissions by 13 to 15%.
This collection combines PlaX™ with cotton to create ‘cut and sewn’ and pile items that can be worn comfortably even during the hot summer.

それにより、CO2排出量を13～15％カットすることにも成功しています。
